Death Of Medical Doctors, Blow To Healthcare Delivery – Ngige

Sen. Chris Ngige ,the Minister of Labour and Employment, on Thursday in Abuja described the death of six medical doctors on Kaduna –Abuja road as a blow to heath service delivery in Nigeria.
The message is contained in a statement signed by Mr Samuel Olowookere, Deputy Director Press, Ministry of Labour and Employment.
The statement said that Ngige expressed his heartfelt condolences to the president and members of Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) over the loss.
“I received with great shock the news of the untimely death of sic active medical practitioners, including the driver, who were cut in their prime by the cold hands of death in an accident.
“I share in the pain and identify with NMA and the families of the deceased in this moment of great grief.’’
The statement said the minister prayed for the repose of the souls of the dead and asked God to grant their families and NMA the fortitude to bear the loss.
It said he also prayed for the quick recovery of the survivors.
